Amanda hails from California’s Bay Area but traded her Patagonia fleeces for down coats to attend graduate school at NYU’s Journalism Institute News and Documentary program. She officially considers herself a true New Yorker after more than 20 years on the right coast. Amanda first visited Rockefeller Plaza as a 6-year-old and toured NBC studios with the hopes of meeting Punky Brewster (but only came away with a new Punky Brewster button for her jean jacket) and, decades later began her NBC News career back at 30 Rock. As production manager, Amanda thrills in coordinating shoots, staffing, and managing all budgets great and small. She lives in Westchester with her family, including her beloved Pandemic Puppy Jed. She has yet to meet Punky Brewster.
