“Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate this thing called Life.” Upon hearing Prince’s iconic words from the film Purple Rain as a young boy in New Jersey, Patrick Jean-Joseph became enamored of entertainment and storytelling. Since graduating from Temple University’s broadcasting program in 2006, Patrick has worked tirelessly to turn his passion into a career, having worked on various projects in comedy, news, television, and documentary that have aired on Court TV, Tru TV, MTV, REELZ, CNN and MSNBC, among others. With NBC News Studios, Patrick strives to create bold, engaging television with stories that celebrate, educate and entertain.
