Jeanelle Augustin is a Haitian-American film programmer, curator, and Manager of Film Fellowships and Artist Development at NBCUniversal. She leads the Original Voices Fellowship in partnership with NBC News Studios and NBCU Academy. Before joining NBC, Jeanelle worked at Doc Society as Film Officer and programmed for Camden International Film Festival and True/False Film Fest. She curated and led filmmaker seminars for Black Star Film Festival and Union Docs, served on juries for Creative Capital, Define American, Film Independent, International Documentary Association, Open City Documentary Film Festival and Sundance Institute. When she’s not helping people make great content she surfs and teaches yoga.
