We are a full-service production company that specializes in documentary storytelling and the occasional scripted project for platforms both inside and outside of NBCUniversal. We collaborate with premier filmmakers at all stages of development and production and share access to everything our esteemed news organization has to offer: eight decades of television and radio archive; a global network of journalists; a world-class investigative team; and rich trove of story IP. Our team has decades of experience in the TV and documentary worlds and has been honored with multiple Emmy, Peabody and DuPont awards.

Recent premieres include David Belton & Bjorn Johnson’s Memory Box: Echoes of 9/11, produced by Hugo Godwin and Elizabeth Fischer (TIFF 2021, MSNBC, Peacock), the six-part docuseries John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise (Peacock), and Dawn Porter’s documentary film The Way I See It (Focus Features, MSNBC, Peacock). We’re also in production on the scripted mini-series The Thing About Pam (NBC) starring Renée Zellweger and produced with Blumhouse Productions and Big Picture Co.; a feature documentary film with Academy Award nominated director Julie Cohen (RBG); a documentary feature about sex researcher Shere Hite directed by Academy Award nominee Nicole Newnham (Crip Camp); and soon-to-be announced projects with director Dawn Porter and Broadway Video.

Studios is also proud to sponsor the Original Voices documentary fellowship in partnership with NBCU Academy.
