A Peacock Original produced by NBC News Studios, Richard Ramirez: The Night Stalker Tapes looks back on the killer’s summertime reign of terror in Los Angeles in the 1980s, and explores how a perfect storm of child abuse and twisted boyhood influences enabled a troubled young man from El Paso, Texas to become a notorious serial killer.
The 2 x 60-minute doc is built around 25 hours of recordings made while Ramirez was on Death Row, many of which have never been heard before, as well as interviews with his family, friends and wife.
